Edgewater Growth Capital Partners invests in profitable growth companies which are led by outstanding management teams. Our focus is primarily on companies with revenues of $20 million to $500 million and which meet our profitability and growth requirements. Our approach is to partner with management teams to build value through their company’s organic growth and often through acquisitions. We make both growth equity (minority) and buyout (majority) investments to accommodate the needs of each investment situation.

Edgewater invests in industries where our Partners have personal experience and use our experience and network to help our portfolio companies build value. Industries where we most frequently invest include: business services, financial and government services, consumer products and services, health care services, IT services and software and basic industries.

Edgewater’s invests primarily in companies which meet the following criteria:

• EBITDA between $5 and $30 million
• Strong management team with whom we can partner
• Growth opportunity, either organic or through acquisitions
• Base of operations in North America
• Control or non-control transactions

Edgewater is usually the sole or lead equity investor in our portfolio companies but we will also co-invest with other funds with whom we have long-standing relationships. We also invest in partnership with our affiliate Bolder Capital, LLC. Because of our close relationship with several multi-billion dollar co-investment firms, we are able to fund equity investments of essentially any size. We also have relationships with many sources of debt financing which, when appropriate, can be added to our investment capital structure.

In our experience, the best investment opportunities are often found through introductions from trusted sources. Thus, we prefer company introductions from within our network of relationships or companies that we source directly. Frequently, our portfolio companies are not initially looking to raise outside equity capital, but realize the value which comes from an investment partnership with Edgewater.
