Scott Meadow is an Associate Partner of Edgewater Growth Capital Partners.

Prior to joining Edgewater and since 1982, Scott was a principal investor in the private equity industry. Scott has over 25 years of experience as a general partner with four venture capital and private equity firms, most recently with the Sprout Group, the private equity affiliate of Credit Suisse. Over the course of his career, Scott has led or originated more than 60 investments involving healthcare services companies, consumer services and retail companies as well as companies enhanced by the Internet. Scott has been recognized four times by Venture One for his successful work.

Since 2000, Scott has held the position of Professor of Entrepreneurship at The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. He was designated by Business Week’s “Guide to the Best Business Schools” as one of the outstanding Entrepreneurial Professors in the country. Scott continues his professorship with the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business in addition to his responsibilities with Edgewater.

Scott received his B.A. from Harvard College, Magna Cum Laude and his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
